34th Annual NAMI Tennessee State Convention

September 24-25, 2020

The Inn at Opryland in Nashville

Our theme this year is

"Together Toward Tomorrow."

Workshops will be 90 minutes in length and may be presented by individuals or panels of up to three presenters. Workshop moderators will be provided by NAMI Tennessee. We encourage workshop speakers and submissions that represent the full range of the impact of mental health conditions regardless of race, sex, age, belief, financial condition, education, sexual orientation, family, consumer, or professional status. Preference will be given to workshops that support NAMI's Strategic Plan Goals: People Get Help Early, People Get the Best Possible Care, People Get Diverted from Justice System Involvement.

Keynote Speaker

Altha J. Stewart began her term as President of the American Psychiatric Association at the end of the APA Annual Meeting in May, 2018. Dr. Stewart is an associate professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Center for Health in Justice Involved Youth at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
